Senior Pastor and First Lady Rev. Dr. William E. Flippin, Sr. and Sylvia T. Flippin

The Reverend Dr. William E. Flippin, Sr., B.A., M. Div., D. Min., has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Business Administration from Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee.  In addition, Dr. Flippin holds a Master of Divinity, Cum Laude, from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. While in seminary he was a Benjamin E. Mays Fellowship Scholar and a scholar for the Fund for Theological Education. Dr. Flippin earned a Doctor of Ministry from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, Illinois. 
Dr. Flippin is a Certified Life Transformational Coach and a Certified Leadership Coach Trainer.  He is the author of five books; In my Father’s House, God’s Order: Order in the Church, God’s Order: Order in the Pulpit, God’s Order and Vision 20/20.  Dr. William E. Flippin, Sr. is also a proud member of the distinguished Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.  Among his many accomplishments he is a proud life member of NAACP; and president and board member of Dekalb County Juvenile Justice Council.
First Lady Sylvia T. Flippin is a retired educator and Instructional Coach from the DeKalb County School District. She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and holds a Master’s degree in Education from Georgia State University.  First Lady Flippin is a proud member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. 
Rev. Dr. William E. Flippin, Sr.  and First Lady Sylvia T. Flippin have been married for over 43 years and are the proud parents of one daughter, Sylvia Joi and three sons who continue the family legacy of preaching: Rev. William E. Flippin, Jr. (Kedra), Rev. Dr. Richard C. Flippin and Rev. Joseph C. T. Flippin (Kendall). They are also the proud grandparents of a grandbaby—Shamel Emani Flippin—the beautiful daughter of William, Jr. and Kedra.
