From there she attended Bethune-Cookman University and Florida State University receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and later obtained a Master of Science in Nursing in Primary Care-Nurse Practitioner from Barry University.
She is blessed to have worked in various areas of patient care in Dade and Broward counties, including a sixteen-year career at Jackson Memorial Hospital where she was Nurse Manager of a 37 bed surgical unit with over 50 staff members. She has also been administrator/instructor of Harper’s Driving School, a behind-the-wheel program, co-owned with her husband. She saw this opportunity as a ministry to teenagers. She is presently an instructor at Miami Dade College in the Benjamin Leon School of Nursing. At The Fountain of New Life, where her husband has served as Founder and Senior Pastor for the past twenty years, Sister Tee, as she is affectionately known, serves as a Lay Counselor where she ministers to men, women, and parents (requisite for baby dedications), with her passion being mentoring wives. She believes with faith, the power of God and obedience to His way, there is not a marriage that can’t be saved. She serves as a Ministry Advisor to the Women’s Ministry. She has served as Discipleship Coach for Women’s Ministry’s Victorious Disciples small groups, which led to her being asked to launch the Growth Group Ministry.
